But let’s get back to the question, if that’s the money you want to make.
First, we need to clarify what a six figure income really is. Most people who brag that they make big bucks are probably telling you the truth… sort of. (I won’t discuss the people lying here… there will ALWAYS be liars.)
But here’s where that ‘sort of’ comes in. Most of the people saying they make six figures are talking about their gross, not their net profits. That means, that means they are telling you how much money they make based on simply the income coming in, not the expenses going out. I’ve heard hundreds of stories about people making a big payday, but when they paid out what they owed in affiliate fees, outsourcing expenses and the like, they end up making less then $1000! (So much for having a profitable business, huh?)
Ok, now that we clarified a common myth, let’s talk about what really works to earn a PROFIT.
The big thing you may be missing in your business is leverage and the manpower. Marketing your services and products has more to do with making alliances with others than just selling on your own. Why? Because you are using (leveraging) other people (the manpower) to help you promote it.
It doesn’t take a genius to work out that twenty people promoting your product with the same efficiency as you, at fifty percent commissions, are going to bring you in ten times the amount of sales than you would have got on your own, with ten times less expenses for you, not to mention the time it would take for you to try and do the job of ten people.
