There’s nothing like the holidays… to add more stress to our already chaotic lives. And stress is the leading cause of us losing our motivation in our businesses.
Now you may think that you are still busy, but the real question is: when you are overly stressed, are you as productive as you should be?
Take me for example. We’re in the middle of planning a trip to the UK which starts next week, so although I’ve been ‘clocking’ oodles of time on the computer, I find it’s not doing more work, but searching for things such as new luggage and some clothes. Then, when I look at everything I still have left on my plate, I get more stressed. (See a cycle here?)
Well it’s time to stop.
And here’s a way to do so… the key to getting and keeping your mojo on track is to find happiness in every task that we do. Yes, even the yucky ones. Sometimes, it’s as easily as just celebrating that the awful tasks are done. Finding joy in the little things we do will keep the stress at bay!
